The Hat-Making Process:
Serratelli’s hats are handcrafted entirely in their Newark workshop by a team of over 50 skilled American artisans. The process begins with the careful selection of premium fur blends, which are shaped and blocked to form the hat’s foundation. Using steam, brim plates, and hand-sanding, the hat is refined to achieve its smooth finish and precise design. Each hat is meticulously crafted, from the branded sweatband to the perfectly shaped brim and hand-stitched hatbands.
Attention to detail and quality control are integral to Serratelli’s process. Every hat undergoes rigorous checks, final steaming, and careful packaging to ensure it meets the brand’s high standards.
