Willow Lane Return Policy

We want you to love everything you get from Willow Lane! If your purchase isn't quite right, we're happy to help you with a return.


Our General 45-Day Policy

You have 45 days from the date of purchase to send an item back for a refund to your original payment method. (Effective October 1st, 2025)

Extended Holiday Returns

Items purchased between November 1 and December 31 can be returned until January 15th of the following year, or 45 days from purchase, whichever date is later.


Eligibility Checklist (Must-Haves)

To ensure your return is accepted, the item must be in new, re-sellable condition and meet all criteria:

  • Condition: Must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, with all original tags attached. Items must have no visible signs of wear including makeup, pet hair, smoke, or odors.
  • Proof of Purchase: Your order confirmation or packing slip must be included.

Heads Up on Hat Boxes: Custom hat boxes are considered part of the merchandise. They must be placed inside a separate exterior protective shipping box to prevent damage during transit. Boxes returned without protection or damaged will result in a deduction from your refund.

  1. Request a Label: Complete the request through our return portal.
  2. Ship It Back: Print the label and mail your items.

Fees Deducted From Your Refund

When using our prepaid return label, the following will be deducted from your final refund amount:

Charge Type Detail
Return Shipping Label $10.00 per label (Fee is waived if the item is defective or if we made a mistake on your order.)
Original Shipping Charges Original shipping charges and the Willow Lane Shipping Warranty fee are non-refundable.
Shipping Surcharges If you don't use appropriate packaging and we incur additional carrier fees (like dimensional weight fees), the extra cost will be deducted.

Final Sale & Restocking Fees

  • Final Sale Items: Items marked 25% off or more (including clearance) are not eligible for return.
  • Late Returns: Returns received after the allowed return window will be subject to a restocking fee.
  • Hat Restocking Fee: Any return containing multiple hats is subject to a restocking fee.

*Restocking fees help cover costs associated with return shipping, return packaging, and restoring items to new condition.*


Refunds, Exchanges, and Gifts

  • Refund Timeline: Once your return is received and inspected, please allow 2–4 business days for your refund to be processed. We will email you a confirmation once it's complete.
  • Refund Options: On the return form, please indicate if you would like a refund to your original payment method (our default) or Willow Lane store credit.
  • Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges. For a different size or style, please place a new order and return the original item for a refund.
  • Gift Returns: If you received the item as a gift and want store credit, please clearly note this and include the email address where you would like the credit sent.

International Returns

We do not offer prepaid labels for orders shipped outside the U.S.

  • International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any associated fees or duties.
  • Mail your return to the address below after receiving approval via our return portal. Please include your name and order number inside the package.
